Building caretaker (Hausmeister) costs are allocable operating expenses under § 2 No. 14 BetrKV of German law. The remuneration for routine property management activities can be passed on to tenants. Costs for repairs and administrative tasks are not allocable. (§ 2 Nr. 14 BetrKV)
